Flogas donates £2,000 to charity this Christmas

Flogas Ireland has began the Christmas season in a spirit of generosity, giving almost £2,000 to local charities.

The company contributed €1,500 (£1,260) towards the St Vincent de Paul’s Annual Christmas Appeal, the theme of which this year was ‘Don’t let any family have an empty Christmas’.

Eoin O’Flynn, Ian Barry, and Michael Keogh of Flogas Ireland stepped in to present the cheques to the charity’s representatives in Drogheda, Cork and Ballyhaunis in early December.

All three communities are located close the company terminals and other facilities.

Meanwhile at their Belfast offices, Paul Ruegg presented a £500 cheque to the Cancer Fund for Children.

John Rooney, managing director, Flogas Ireland, said: “We are proud to be able to support the work of these two fine charities that are constantly working to provide strong support services to families and individuals in what is very challenging times.”
