Halal Baby Food Launches In UK

A halal baby food brand from Norway has launched to the UK retail market.

The Nasim’s range consists of halal infant formula (‘1’ for babies up to six months old and ‘2’ for six months onwards)  and five ready-made halal meal pots suitable for babies from six to 10 months old. Recipes include Oriental salmon supper, cottage pie,  and spaghetti Bolognese.

The meals contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives but are fortified with iron; they can be heated and served from the plastic pot .

They will be sold individually and will retail for £9.99 for infant formula (800g) and £1.39 per 120g meal pot pack.
