Nisa secures £75M deal with Sandpiper

Nisa Retail Limited has secured a £75 million five-year contract to supply leading Channel Islands-based retail company Sandpiper CI.

The contract extends an existing 30-year partnership between the firms.

Nick Henderson, buying director for Sandpiper CI said: “Strategic partners are key for future success and this agreement is good news for both companies.”

The announcement follows news Nisa had signed a five year deal worth £1bn to supply the new My Local estate of 140 stores. It has also extending its partnership with leading UK food export company Ramsden International in a supply deal worth up to £250 million over five years.

Nisa currently supports over 1,200 local retailers and 2,500 stores across the UK. Some operate under the Nisa brand and others under their own names and fascias.

Nisa supplies the stock, guidance and retail support that helps them to run and grow their business.

Sandpiper CI is the largest retailer in the Channel Islands, operating stores in Jersey and Guernsey. Its portfolio includes a large number of supermarkets, food halls, forecourt stores, and off-licenses.
