A new market ventilation product by Brookvent has now gone into full production.

In October, Brookvent launched its new product Aircycle 1.3 and has successfully shipped its first order of 39 units to London for a new multi-million pound apartment complex.

Alderman William Leathem, Chair of the Lisburn and Castlereagh Council’s Development Committee said: “It is excellent news that new apartments in London will benefit from the energy saving Aircycle 1.3 product. Its intelligent design allows for high performance ventilation and 92% heat recovery efficiency, which is exactly what properties require to negate the effects of condensation on a person’s health.

“This latest product by Brookvent once again demonstrates its experience in design, manufacture and supply of leading ventilation products that offer a customisable solution to residential properties.  The continued evolution of its product range ensures improved energy efficiency and lower running costs for the properties they are installed in.  We are delighted with both their engineering skills and achievements and wish them every continued success in the future.”

Mr Dane Duffy, Sales & Marketing Director, Brookvent added: ““Our new Brookvent Aircycle 1.3 heat recovery ventilation product represents the 6th generation of this technology type in our history and is testament to the engineering talent present within the company. Its high efficiency core and its versatile mounting options have already seen it attract major interest with contractors across the UK as well as our distributor’s in New Zealand, Hungary and beyond.”

Mr David Burns, the new Chief Executive of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, said: “I was pleased to see first-hand Northern Ireland’s leading supplier of energy saving ventilation systems.  It has its headquarters in Lisburn, exports across the world, has a base in Poland and distributorships in Hungary, the Baltics and Russia.  Brookvent has established a streamlined manufacturing and assembly process for its products that are proving popular across the world.  The Council is very proud to see its local companies grow both nationally and internationally and benefiting from the local skilled workforce.”
