]]> The NFRN – Federation of Independent retailers – has alerted members to counterfeit notes circulating in Belfast. The warning arose after some members had found fake £20 and £10 notes in their tills.

The PSNI has also issued a warning following reports of fake notes circulating across Northern Ireland. PSNI said they are aware of counterfeit £50 Clydesdale bank notes being used across the country.
