NEW M&S STORE OPEN IN CRAIGAVON

Marks & Spencer unveiled its brand new 7,000 square foot store at  Marlborough Retail Park in the heart of Craigavon, creating 56 job opportunities.

Great British Bake Off 2016 finalist Andrew Smyth made a guest appearance at the opening of the new M&S Craigavon store where he baked a traditional treacle wheaten for over 400 customers who queued to be the first to see the store.

The Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Council joined local customers to celebrate the official opening of the new store with M&S Craigavon Store Manager, John Woods and his team.

The ribbon was cut by Brid McKeown (15) and Malachy Kofa (12), pupils at Ceara Special School who were the lucky winners of a colouring competition organised by the store.

Great British Bake Off 2016 finalist Andrew Smyth was a special guest at the opening where he hosted a series of baking demonstrations giving customers a true taste of what M&S Craigavon has to offer.

John Woods said: “I have been waiting for a long time to bring M&S to the local community and as a Craigavon local, I’m extremely proud to finally welcome our customers to the store.

“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and hearing their positive comments today has been hugely rewarding.”

“Our shelves are bursting with everything from lunches to go and everyday essentials, to dinners perfect for sharing with family and friends.”

“We’re excited to be part of the Craigavon community and can’t wait to get to know our local customers.”

Kate McKeown who lives in the local area was one of the first customers to visit the new store. She said: “It’s great to have M&S open in Craigavon!”

“The quality of M&S food is brilliant and it’s really amazing to see it being brought to the area.”

M&S Craigavon stocks over 5,000 innovative food and drink products, as well as a selection of flowers, cards and gift wrap.

Whether customers are looking for an on-the-go snack, everyday meal or a special treat, the store offers an exciting range of products to create show-stopping dishes and desserts.

The store also offers the full range of M&S Clothing & Home products via its Click & Collect in Store service.

Customers can opt for next day pick up if they order by 10 pm the night before on M&S.com. With 350 free car parking spaces, the store is ideal for convenient Clothing & Home collection.

  • Sunday: 1-6pm
  • Monday-Wednesday: 8am-8pm
  • Thursday & Friday: 8am-10pm
  • Saturday: 8am-8pm
