Moy Park announces £8M skills investment

Moy Park, one of NI’s biggest employers, has revealed it is to invest £8 million in skills development at the firm.
Invest Northern Ireland has offered Moy Park £1.4million towards its skills programme, which is designed to support the continued growth of this leading European food business.
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Jonathan Bell attended the announcement which will see a major development programme across the group during the next four years.
Moy Park is the second largest player in the UK poultry sector and employs 6,300 across its Northern Ireland-based processing facilities in Craigavon, Dungannon and Ballymena.
Jonathan Bell said: “This latest investment has enabled Moy Park to implement a comprehensive suite of training and learning initiatives across the entire company workforce, looking at leadership and management development, technical competences and functional skills.”
