The grocery industry’s biggest night of the year is coming – don’t miss out!

There are less than two months to go to the 2024 Neighbourhood Retailer Awards, the biggest night for the Northern Ireland grocery industry!

With the winners of 20 categories to be announced on Friday 18th October, the Crowne Plaza Belfast will be packed with hundreds of the top retailers, their finalists and staff ready to celebrate success.

We were thrilled to welcome over 500 people to the Crowne Plaza Belfast last year where host Donna Traynor led proceedings on this special occasion – marking the 26th year of the NR Awards.

It was a night of glitz and glamour as the great and the good of the retail industry came together and witnessed a historic night for County Down retailer, Tom McAvoy. History was made when his store, Milestone Rathfriland was named Retailer of the Year, a record fourth time they have taken home the award.

A well-known and highly respected name across Northern Ireland, Tom McAvoy was honoured with the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award. Indeed, the Milestone team snapped up two other awards on the night, namely Neighbourhood Store of the Year Category 4 and Food to Go Store of the Year, marking a hugely successful year for the store.

With another record year for entries, the 2023 gala awards dinner was a fantastic evening celebrating winners and finalists from across Northern Ireland.

It is hard to believe that the 2024 awards will soon be upon us, so it’s time to book your table for this year’s unmissable event!
