Robbery at South Belfast shop

Staff were threatened and cash stolen in a shop robbery in South Belfast.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 6th May when a man entered a shop on the Lisburn Road at approximately 8.30am.

After entering the premises, the man threatened staff before making off in the direction of Donnybrook Street with cigarettes and a sum of cash.

The man was wearing a blue puffa style coat, a grey baseball cap, blue shorts and black trainers.

Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, has CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 270 06/05/25.
