Another Belfast off licence targeted in robbery
There has been another robbery incident involving an off licence in Belfast this month.
A report of a robbery at an off licence on Sunnyside Street in south Belfast was received on Friday 14th August.
It was reported that two men entered the premises in the area, they went behind the till and ordered a member of staff to open the tills. It was reported that a sum of money was taken during the incident before the men made off on foot via the front of the premises towards the Ava Drive area.
During the incident, the staff member was dragged to the rear of the premises. Although badly shaken, they were thankfully not injured.
Police have said one of the males was described as approximately 6ft tall, well-built and wearing light great tracksuit bottoms and a light grey tracksuit top with dark grey patches on the side.
The second man is described as being of thin build and wearing light grey tracksuit bottoms and a tracksuit top which was light grey at the top half and dark grey at the bottom half. Both men were believed to be aged in their 20s and had their hoods up around the faces during the incident.
