‘Award is ultimate recognition for our hard work and dedication’

WINNERS’ CIRCLE – JC STEWART FOOD HALL, MAGHERAFELT

As the countdown to the NR 2023 Awards continue, we take a look back to our 2022 winners, who tell us how it felt to win a Neighbourhood Retailer Award and what it means to them, their team and their business.

Fresh Food Store of the Year winners were JC Stewart Food Hall in Magherafelt. Judges praised the “unique store” describing its range of fresh food as “second to none”.

Adding that the quality of products and range of food was “exceptional”, the judges said the store “demonstrates a great understanding of what the customers want, and provides this and so much more, in a friendly and efficient manner”.

Store manager at JC Stewart Food Hall, Gary McCulloch said winning the Neighbourhood Retailer Award meant “everything” to the whole team.

“Our fresh range is at the centre of our business and we continually drive fresh food innovation,” added Gary.

“It’s the ultimate recognition of the dedication and hard work of every team member who helped achieve this.”
