Belfast most stressed city, according to Google search data
While the UK has battled the COVID-19 pandemic for the past twelve months, the issue of a mental health crisis has been arising super quickly – and it is one that is prominent in Northern Ireland.
In light of their collaboration with Prince’s Trust U.K, leading menswear retailer Charles Tyrwhitt decided to carry out research using Google Search Data from the last twelve months.
CT Shirts looked at which city was searching for the most stress-related terms, to reveal that Belfast is the most stressed city in the UK.
Belfast also had the biggest decline in stress searches between YoY (Mar 20 to Feb 21) down 22% but still remained the most stressed.
Cardiff is the least stressed city in the UK. Edinburgh has the biggest growth in searches YoY, but still remains less stressed than Glasgow.
