The “meaningful engagement” achieved with its digital marketing campaign saw Centra NI awarded for its success at the 2022 Neighbourhood Retailer Awards.

Desi Derby, Director of Marketing for Centra NI described the win as a “testament to the hard work and creativity” behind the campaign and said they were “absolutely delighted” to win the award.

“We took an innovative approach and used Zoom to share authentic consumer content, making our customers the voice of the campaign,” explained Desi.

“Both consumer perception and sales of our own brand increased, and we experienced significant digital engagement.”

Judges praised Centra NI’s campaign, which led to notable success for the company.

“The judges were impressed with the meaningful engagement achieved through a number of different highly responsive communication platforms, which have driven sales, increased brand awareness and improved customer affiliation,” they noted.

Independently judged by Spotcheck, the awards are judged to exacting standards over a three-month period.

Now in their 26th year, the Neighbourhood Retailer Awards reward excellence, recognise achievement, raise industry standards and reward entrepreneurial spirit.

“To be recognised with this award is testament to the hard work and creativity that made this campaign such a success,” added Desi.
