‘Cheers’ to Spring savings with Nisa’s Cider Festival

Nisa retailers are helping shoppers to stock up on their favourite ciders for less this month with Nisa’s latest Cider Festival promotion, offering a raft of great deals on a wide selection of fruity tipples.

Shoppers can raise a glass to great deals including Any 2 for £4 on the newly listed Kopparberg Tropical 500ml, Old Mout Watermelon & Lime 500ml and Rekorderlig Pink Lemon 500ml, as well as Kopparberg Mixed Fruit 500ml. Strongbow Rosé and Thatchers Rosé 4 x 440ml are available at £5.50, Rekorderlig Watermelon 10 x 440ml for just £10 or Strongbow Dark Fruit or Rosé Cider 10 x 440ml for £11. Those seeking out more traditional flavours can also pick up new brand Inch’s Medium Apple Cider 4 x 440ml or Thatchers Gold 4 x 500ml for just £4.50, or Strongbow Original 4pk pint cans for £5.

The Cider Festival event will run in stores until 1st June, supported by themed POS to grab the attention of shoppers and is also featured on Nisa’s website, social media channels and consumer leaflets.

Sam Yeadon, wholesale category controller for BWS at Nisa, said: “With lockdown measures beginning to relax, many people will be eager to meet up with friends and family and the Cider Festival promotion provides a raft of great deals for shoppers to stock up on for such social occasions, particularly to enjoy at BBQs or during the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.

“With research showing that 43% of cider drinkers are interested in trying new and unique flavours, Nisa partners can drive additional sales and entice shoppers to try something different by using the Cider Festival POS to highlight the exciting new flavours and deals available.

“Three quarters of cider shoppers are price and brand led, but those purchasing within this category also have an average basket spend of more than £22, so it’s important to cater for cider shoppers with different pack sizes and price points as well as popular brands that people know and love, all of which are well catered for with our Cider Festival promotion.”
