Crust & Crumb Scoops £24m pizza deal at Lidl

Fermanagh bakery Crust & Crumb has won a contract worth £24million to sell pizzas to discount grocer Lidl.

Based in Derrylin, the bakery will be supplying products to around 1,000 Lidl stores in both Ireland and the UK. Their offering includes 20 varieties of Lidl’s deluxe range of Sourdough Pizzas, six Chef select pizzas and two variants for its Simply Value range.

Conor Boyle, regional director of Lidl Northern Ireland, said: “From small beginnings in 2013 we’ve built an outstanding relationship with Crust & Crumb and we are thrilled that this new contractual arrangement will bring its great-tasting, quality, locally-made products to thousands of new consumers in stores across the UK and Ireland.

Crust & Crumb has been a preferred supplier for Lidl since 2013. The partnership has seen the creation of 160 full time jobs.
