IFEX 2014 Launched

IFEX 2014 has just been officially launched and is set to be home to thousands of visitors, hundreds of exhibitors and Northern Ireland’s hottest young culinarians…

Ahead of the IFEX 2014 in March, stakeholders from the food, retail and hospitality sectors attended the launch to hear about the exciting plans that are in place for NI’s biggest hospitality and catering biennial event.

Now under the new ownership of Fresh Montgomery – the exhibition organisers behind IFE, Hotelympia and The Hospitality Show –  IFEX is taking place from March 11 to 13 at the King’s Hall complex in Belfast.

Soraya Gadelrab, event director of IFEX said:  “We’re thrilled that the show is back in our hands and it’s exciting for us to be involved in an event that really galvanises all of those in the food, drink, retail and hospitality sectors over three days,” she added.

IFEX is one of Northern Ireland’s most successful trade shows .Central to the show is the Salon Culinaire, which includes the ChefSkills Theatre and La Parade des Chefs.

This is the platform where many of Northern Ireland’s most notable chefs – including Michael Deane, Alex Taylor, Chris Bell and Roisin Gavin – were first recognised within the industry.

It’s expected that more than 100 exhibitors will showcase thousands of new products and services to industry professionals at the event.

Spanning more than 3,000 sq ft, IFEX is one of the biggest trade shows to be held in Northern Ireland in any sector.
