JTI now top manufacturer in UK
JTI has said sustained investment in its brand, people and the trade has led to the company taking the lead in market share.
According to statistics in Nielsen’s Market Track December 2015 report, JTI now has a 42.4 per cent share of the £15 billion UK tobacco market, leading in sales volumes.
JTI said their portfolio of best-selling brands, including Sterling and Amber Leaf, represented an ever-increasing contribution to retailer tobacco sales.
The company said it was also continuing to invest in the trade through a combination of an award-winning sales force, merchandising solutions, JTI Advance, retailer engagement events, and a Customer Careline. It also offers a support package to help retailers maximise sales from tobacco.
