Moy Park Only NI Firm To Make League Table
Moy Park Dungannon

Moy Park has become the only company from Northern Ireland to make it on to the inaugural Sunday Times PA Consulting Inward Investment Track 50.

The league table ranks overseas-headquartered multinationals by their UK staff number to shine a light on this important part of the economy.

Moy Park in Craigavon is the UK head office and European hub of Brazilian parent company Marfrig Global Foods.  Employing over 8,000 people in the UK alone, Moy Park featured at number 45 in the league table.

Janet McCollum, Moy Park CEO said: “We are delighted to be listed in this prestigious league table. It demonstrates the significant contribution that we are proud to make to the UK economy supported by inward investment from our parent Marfrig Global Foods.”

The Inward Investment Track 50 is sponsored by PA Consulting Group and supported by UK Trade & Investment. It is compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events company.

Colm Reilly, who leads PA Consulting Group’s economic development unit and is managing director of UKTI’s investment services said:

“These are exciting times for UK inward investment and companies operating in Northern Ireland show what can be achieved. Britain is making good progress, but there is more to be done. Companies must learn to focus on developing technology that can help a variety of sectors, rather than serving the industries they have typically worked with.”
