Nisa has launched a special gifting event for retailers to help them make the most of the Mother’s Day sales opportunities throughout March.

With Mothering Sunday falling on 31st March, retailers have been given almost a full month to drive sales for this gifting mission.

A wide range of sweet treats and favourite tipples form part of the in-store deals Nisa partners will be offering to their shoppers, ensuring they have every chance to make the most of the event which is said to be worth more than £50 million within the confectionery market.

Nisa partners will be helping their shoppers to Make Mum’s Day with a raft of great deals, all supported by eye-catching point of sale material to use in store as well as on digital platforms.

Some of the offers in the promotional event are cheeky chocolate treats including large boxes of Maltesers and M and Ms Peanut Boxes for only £3 and Cadbury Milk Tray or Roses Flower Boxes for just £4.

Favourite fizzes from La Gioiosa in either Prosecco Brut or Rosea Spumante for £8 as well as a generous gin selection from top brand Whitley in various flavours for £16 are available to help shoppers raise a glass to the special woman in their lives.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Phillipe Rondepierre said: “Shoppers on gifting missions tend to buy on impulse and so we’re encouraging Nisa partners to promote a good range of products for Mother’s Day and to utilise our point of sale material to really draw attention to what is on offer.

“According to research from Nielsen, one in five shoppers spend extra to celebrate Mother’s Day and so this presents another great opportunity for our retailers to increase sales during the run up to the event.”
