Patisserie Valerie confirms deal with Sainsbury’s

Following a difficult trading period, popular brand Patisserie Valerie has teamed up with Sainsbury’s to see 250 stores stock its products ahead of the Christmas period. Available in-stores from 2 December, the deal is the first for the brand which went in to administration in 2018, before being rescued by Irish equity firm Causeway Capital Partners (CCP).

Since then, the brand has recovered well. CEO James Fleming told The Telegraph “In bringing our range exclusively in to Sainsbury’s stores and online, we are excited to on customer trust for high quality, handmade caskes and patisseries.
