Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, has awarded £20,000 in prizes to 11 National Lottery retailers in its latest Site, Stock, Sell online quarterly prize draw.

A single National Lottery retailer took home the £10,000 top prize, while a further 10 retailers each won £1,000 for achieving high scores in Allwyn’s Site, Stock, Sell online in-store standards programme.

Congratulating this quarter’s winners, Allwyn’s Head of Field Sales, Karl Southworth encouraged retailers to “keep up the fantastic work”.

“We know that keeping Scratchcard dispensers full, signage current and up to date, and play slips topped up helps maximise sales of The National Lottery and, in turn, increases returns to Good Causes. Thank you for your hard work in helping to raise over £30 million every week for National Lottery-funded projects,” he said.

This month, independent National Lottery retailers have the opportunity to earn even more in rewards through Allwyn’s Site, Stock, Sell online programme.

They can earn £25 instead of £10 for uploading point of sale pictures and scoring eight or more out of 10.

If National Lottery retailers haven’t already, they can sign up to The National Lottery Retailer Hub today to find out more about bonus opportunities like this one: https://tnlpartners.co.uk/

Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, has launched a brand new annuity-style Scratchcard based on its successful draw game Set For Life.

The new ‘Set For 5 Years’ Scratchcard, which costs £2, offers players the chance to win a top prize of £5,000 every month for five years.

To celebrate its launch in stores, Allwyn is giving eligible National Lottery retailers the chance to win an annuity-style prize of their own of £100 every month for a year.

To be in with a chance of winning one of five top prizes up for grabs, National Lottery retailers should upload a picture of the ‘Set For 5 Years’ Scratchcard in their dispenser to the National Lottery Retailer Hub by Sunday 19th January. In doing so, they’ll earn £10 and an entry into the draw to win £100 a month for a year.

In-store support for the new ‘Set For 5 Years’ game – which works by players having to match key numbers on the card to mimic that of a Set For Life draw – includes both Set For Life and Set For 5 Years POS, with the games’ iconic blue and pink colour palette taking a prominent place in stores this month.

Allwyn’s Head of Retail Channels, James Dunbar said: “We’re really excited to be launching this new Set For Life-style Scratchcard, as it gives retail players even more opportunities to win on repeat from a National Lottery game.

“It’s designed with the same look and feel as the Set For Life draw game, which offers retailers lots of cross-selling opportunities. For example, they can suggest the new Scratchcard as an additional purchase to customers buying a Set For Life ticket.

“We‘re also celebrating its launch with a special bonus event that will bring the magic of winning on repeat to five lucky National Lottery retailers.”

If National Lottery retailers haven’t already, they can sign up to The National Lottery Retailer Hub today to find out more about bonus opportunities like this one and Allwyn’s new ‘Share The Win’ initiative: https://tnlpartners.co.uk/

The 18th December deadline for completing your Transfer of Retailer Agreement (TRA) from Camelot to Allwyn is fast approaching.

Allwyn, the incoming operator of The National Lottery has urged any independent retailers who have not yet completed the TRA to do so before Monday 18th December.

All independent retailers will have received communications outlining what they need to do to complete the TRA, including:

  • Registering their store and creating an account to start the process
  • Confirming their personal details (they’ll need the last three digits of the bank account used to pay their current National Lottery invoices, as well as proof of identity)
  • Reading and signing their Transfer of Retailer Agreement

Retailers can access the portal via TNLpartners.co.uk or by scanning a QR code featured on the communications they’ve been sent, and it’s worth noting that this process can only be completed by the store owner.

In addition to the wider independent estate, Allwyn and Camelot have also been communicating with independent Post Offices to enable them to continue as National Lottery retailers in the Fourth Licence. The majority of these Post Offices will move across in February. For those that need further support, Allwyn is in the process of contacting all of them individually to explain the next steps.

Following the 18th December Agreement transfer deadline, retailers will receive a ‘Welcome to Allwyn’ pack early in the New Year, which will contain more information on what they can expect from 1st February – including initial details of new and improved National Lottery games from March 2024 onwards. Retailers will also receive information about the training they will need to complete digitally ahead of the changeover.

Allwyn, incoming operator of The National Lottery, has urged any independent retailers who have not yet completed their Transfer of Retailer Agreement (TRA) from Camelot to Allwyn to do so as soon as possible by logging on at TNLpartners.co.uk.

The deadline to complete this is by 18th December 2023 at the very latest.

“With just under eight weeks to go until the TRA deadline, we’re delighted to report that over 75% of all independent retailers have now logged on and completed this,” said Allwyn’s Operations Director, Jenny Blogg.

“This is testament to the great co-operation and support we’ve seen from our retail partners, working hand-in-hand with our joint Allwyn and Camelot Retail team.

“However, we’re now working to reach those remaining retailers who have not yet signed – as we would hate for them to miss out on the exciting plans we have lined up from February onwards. We’re really grateful to National Lottery retailers for prioritising this – and for all they continue to do in selling National Lottery tickets in their stores and helping to raise over £30 million a week for Good Causes across the UK.”

WHAT TO DO

All independent retailers will have received communications outlining what they need to do to complete the TRA, including:

  • Registering their store and creating an account to start the process
