Attempted theft of ATM at Warrenpoint forecourt
Damage was caused to an ATM in Warrenpoint during an attempted robbery in the early hours of Tuesday 9th December.
The incident occurred at the ATM located at Upper Dromore Road in the town at approximately 2am.
It was reported that an attempt had been made to gain access to the machine, located in a shop forecourt. Damage was caused to the machine, but nothing was taken.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by police, who are appealing for anyone with information, or who witnessed suspicious activity in the Upper Dromore Road area of Warrenpoint to contact their Organised Crime Unit in Enniskillen on 101, quoting reference number 111 09/12/25.
