Gransha area stores take inspiration from local care home’s fundraising efforts for NI Chest, Heart & Stroke

SPAR Gransha Road and other stores in the Bangor area raised £1,527 for the charity after learning their local care home, Bramblewood, was also fundraising for the charity on behalf of one of their colleagues.

Store Community Representative, April Clarke commented; “Our SPAR Gransha Road store manager, Glenn Patterson suggested a donation of party food for the residents of Bramblewood Care Home. While we were donating the food, we learned of their fundraising goals for NI Chest Heart & Stroke and we in turn decided to fundraise instore for the charity throughout the month of March.

“As usual, our shoppers have been so generous with their donations and we’re delighted to donate over £1,500 to NI Chest Heart & Stroke”
