Boost Drinks launch lemon & lime addition to popular 250ml Energy range

Boost Drinks will be expanding on its popular Energy Stimulation range, with the arrival of Lemon & Lime Energy.

The new flavour will expand Boost’s Energy offering in a category that is currently growing +15% YoY[1], and accounting for 26% of all Soft Drink value sales[2].

The beverage is a zingy fusion of lemon and lime, adding another point-of-difference against current single-flavour SKUs in the category.

Available in 75p price-marked packs, the product continues to enable retailers to communicate great value amidst increased consumer price-consciousness[3], whilst still delivering excellent margins, something to which Boost remains committed with its Honest Broker approach.

Citrus flavoured beverages continue to grow by +16% in the market, with lime flavours in a phenomenal +900% growth and lemon showing +60% growth[4].

Adrian Hipkiss, Marketing Director at Boost Drinks, said: “Looking at the growing success of our 250ml Energy Stimulation range, we spotted a great opportunity to launch Lemon & Lime, a zingy blend of citrus flavours perfect for the warmer months.

“The drink adds another flavour variant to our existing range, and provides a point of difference to the usual single-flavour SKUs available on the market. We can’t wait to see how the new arrival performs and are looking forward to releasing more new and exciting products throughout the year – watch this space!”

Boost is excited to be offering a wide range of flavours in the popular 250ml format to consumers, as well as offering an additional opportunity for margin gains from flavoured stimulation variants which have witnessed strong double-digit growth in the past year. Boost Lemon & Lime 250ml Energy is available now and is priced at 75p.
