Grenade® salutes the NHS with 250,000 product donation

Leading sports nutrition brand, Grenade®, has announced its official partnership with Salute the NHS, headed up by Ron Dennis, as it donates 250,000 products to frontline staff.

Shipping off 150,000 cans of Grenade Energy® and 100,000 of the low sugar and high protein popular Cookies and Cream flavoured Carb Killa® bars, Grenade® hopes to help fuel frontline staff as they continue to work tirelessly across the UK to help protect us during this uncertain time.

CEO and founder, Alan Barratt, comments: “We hope our contribution can act as a token of appreciation to all NHS staff, thanking them for all the incredible work they have done – particularly over the past couple of months during such unprecedented times.”

Salute the NHS is a non-profit campaign working to support NHS key workers with their basic everyday needs to enable them to focus on fighting Covid-19. Donations are delivered to government-designated Covid-19 hospitals and the homes of self-isolating frontline workers.

Grenade® is continually looking for ways in which it can support those working selflessly on the frontline during these challenging times. Just last month, the sports nutrition brand launched its Carb Killa® Care Package Initiative, delivering personal care packages to help NHS staff through long shifts, stressful days and sleepless nights – in a bid to say thank you.

So far, Grenade® has successfully delivered 830 packages and an approx. total of 180,000 on-the-go protein-packed
