Information appeal after theft from Loughbrickland business
Police are appealing for information following a report of a theft at business premises at Main Street in Loughbrickland.
It was reported that at around 12.45pm on Wednesday 24th July a man entered the premises but left without purchasing anything.
A few minutes later, a second man entered and filled a dark-coloured bag with a number of items, before leaving the premises without paying for them.
It is understood the incident happened at a pharmacists in Loughbrickland.
“He was described as being approximately 5ft 10 to 6ft in height, of stocky build, with a full beard, a 2-3cm scar on his left cheek and a tattoo on his right calf,” said Sergeant Gibson, adding “he was wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, white trainers, and a dark-coloured baseball cap.
“After leaving the premises, the suspect was seen in the Scarva Street area, where he was challenged by two members of the public, before making off.
“Our investigation is ongoing, and we would appeal to anyone who might have any information which could assist us, to get in touch via 101, quoting reference number 750 of 24/07/24.”
