Man arrested following armed robbery at shop in Craigavon
A man has been arrested in relation to an armed robbery at a shop in Craigavon.
The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested following the incident, which occurred on Saturday 16th August in the Drumgor area.
At approximately 10.30am it was reported to police that a masked man armed with a hammer entered a shop in the Drumgor area, pushed a male member of staff to the ground before making off with a sum of money.
The man is described as wearing a dark blue coloured hoodie style top, dark coloured bottoms and black and white trainers.
He was arrested a short time after the incident on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Detective Sergeant Keys said enquiries into the incident are ongoing and appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 542 16/08/25.
