There were celebrations all round for Lynch’s Eurospar Skeoge after they were named Community Store of the Year at the 2022 Neighbourhood Retailer gala awards.

Based in the heart of the local community, this was one of the key factors that led to their success and something the owners and staff pride themselves on.

Judges said Lynch’s Eurospar Skeoge “deserved their obvious success” and highlighted their location as being at the “centre of the local community”.

The store was also praised for its “vast range of products and services to delight their customers” and described their support for local charities, producers and suppliers as “outstanding”.

Independently judged by Spotcheck, the awards are judged to exacting standards over a three-month period.

Now in their 26th year, the Neighbourhood Retailer Awards reward excellence, recognise achievement, raise industry standards and reward entrepreneurial spirit.

Store owner, Conor Lynch said it was a “great privilege” to win the award.

“Our community in Skeoge is a huge part of what drives our business, how we provide for our local communities and ensure we have choice, value and locally-sourced products on our shelves,” said Conor.
