‘Real pride’ in winning NR CTN of the Year 2022 title

As the countdown to the NR 2023 Awards continue, we take a look back to our 2022 winners, who tell us how it felt to win a Neighbourhood Retailer Award and what it means to them, their team and their business.

Winner of CTN of the Year 2022 was Hamilton News, with Judith and Bill Mercer on hand to collect their award.

Judges said the busy store caters well for its clientele, providing a fast and efficient service, coupled with a great range to choose from.

Winning the award was a very proud moment for Hamilton News and the whole team, as store owner, Judith Mercer told NR.

“We were delighted to receive this award and really enjoyed the gala night.

“Staff and customers were over the moon. We are like an extended family here, having served our customers for over 35 years so, really we are very proud to have won.”
