ViVO Dromore owner, Michael Corry was thrilled with their win in the Neighbourhood Store of the Year Category 2, after judges described the store as a “stand-out” one.

It was a family affair on Friday 20th October, as Michael and his family enjoyed the celebrations at the Crowne Plaza Belfast, after winning the prestigious award.

Independently judged by Spotcheck, the awards were judged to exacting standards over a three-month period.

Judges in this category assessed the competing stores on layout, presentation, the range of services available, convenience and the standard of customer care.

Describing ViVO Dromore as a “stand-out store”, judges said: “The range and depth of merchandise was exceptional and staff went out of their way to engage with customers and create good rapport.”

Speaking to NR after receiving their award, Aidan Corry said it was “fantastic” to win, adding they were “delighted” and “over the moon”.

The Neighbourhood Retailer Awards reward excellence, recognise achievement, raise industry standards, and reward entrepreneurial spirit and are Northern Ireland’s most prestigious retail awards.
