Despite the torrid summer so far, local independent retail brand Centra is braving the rain in its quest to find Northern Ireland’s top beach spot.

Supported by Tourism NI, Centra is asking for people across Northern Ireland to nominate their favourite beach on the Centra NI Website.

The search runs until August 17, with two lucky entrants in with a chance to win a £200 Hastings Hotel voucher and Centra vouchers.

Over half of Northern Ireland is surrounded by beautiful coastline, long stretches of golden sand and impressive sand dunes.

Award winning beaches stretch across Counties Down, Antrim and Londonderry, including ten that have claimed the international Blue Flag in 2015.

Despite Northern Ireland’s sporadic weather, beaches around the region are a popular choice rain, hail or shine.
