Henri Wintermans Half Corona cigars get new dressed up pack

Scandinavian Tobacco Group has unveiled a ‘United Kingdom’ themed limited-edition pack for its Henri Wintermans Half Corona cigars.

Available to retailers now, the new pack features a ‘dressed up’ Mr Wintermans resplendent in top hat, umbrella and bow tie.

The Henri Wintermans Half Corona is the UK’s best-selling medium/large cigar. In the last year, it has increased its volume market share from 71.8 per cent to 76 per cent of all medium/large cigars sold, with an annual sales value of just under £15m.

STG’s UK Country Director Alastair Williams said: “With sales up and summertime still here, we’ve dressed Mr Wintermans up to add a distinctive talking point to the gantry with this UK Limited Edition.

“Probably down to the good weather and the fact that people have had more time on their hands recently, we’ve seen demand rocket for the Half Corona since the spring, so I would really encourage retailers to stock this limited edition product and enjoy those extra sales if they can.”
