Lynch’s Greysteel team “ecstatic” after Newcomer of the Year award win
Newcomer of the Year winners, Lynch’s EUROSPAR Greysteel were praised for their store’s “great impact” as they claimed the title at this year’s Neighbourhood Retailer Awards.
Alastair Connor, Gregory Nicholl and Gary Lynch were all delighted to collect the award on Friday 20th October at the Crowne Plaza Belfast and later described how the whole team was “absolutely ecstatic” with the win.
Independently judged by Spotcheck, the awards were judged to exacting standards over a three-month period.
As well as noting the store had “great impact”, judges said the mystery shoppers had “loved the spacious and attractive layout and the fantastic range of products”.
“The value message was clear as was the quality of the fresh offering. Staff were proactive, welcoming and professional,” added the judges.
Speaking after they were presented with their award, Area Manager Alastair Connor said the win was “fantastic”.
The Neighbourhood Retailer Awards reward excellence, recognise achievement, raise industry standards, and reward entrepreneurial spirit and are Northern Ireland’s most prestigious retail awards.
