Nisa shapes up Mother’s Day deals – social media support for retailers

Nisa is supporting retailers with a range of marketing activity to make the most of sales opportunities in the run up to Mother’s Day on Sunday. Following on from a successful early Mother’s Day gifting event, the promotion has arrived in stores, helping Nisa retailers capitalise on the occasion with gifting and a special Meal for Mum being the key focus this year.

The event will be supported by eye-catching point of sale material in store as well as on Nisa’s social media pages and on www.NisaLocally.co.uk, ensuring shoppers are aware of the great deals available.

Bouquets

Also available  is a range of Co-op floral bouquets to suit all budgets; the Vibrant Bouquet at £5, the Novelty Bouquet at £8 and the Traditional Bouquet at £10.

100% of Co-op roses are responsibly sourced through Fairtrade and with Fairtrade flower workers receiving an extra 10% for each stem sold, shoppers can make mum’s day whilst supporting families and communities around the world.

Cheeky chocolates

A number of cheeky chocolate treats including Lindt Lindor 200g and Ferrero Rocher 200g chocolate boxes are available at just £4 each, saving shoppers up to £1.99 off the RRP.

Shoppers wanting to go the extra mile to make Mum’s day even more special can do so by picking up the ‘Meal for Mum’ meal deal, which comprises a Co-op British Large Chicken and a choice of three Co-op side dishes for just £8.

Offline marketing lead at Nisa, Chris Walker, said: “Research shows that over half of shoppers are looking for a Mother’s Day gift to really treat their mum this year, and this year’s event provides our partners a raft of fantastic gifting options at different price points to suit all budgets.

“A third of shoppers do not have a particular gift in mind so will be actively on the lookout for gifting suggestions. And so, we’re encouraging Nisa partners to promote a good range of products for Mother’s Day and to utilise our point of sale material in a high footfall area of their store to really draw attention to what is on offer.”
